Heritage Tasting

Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 pm - close

Irish whiskey came first, but Scotch whisky (no "e") makes a pretty good case for being the spiritual head of the family.  Little brother Bourbon (America's whiskey) completes the family tree.  If you've ever wondered about these closely related -- but wildly different -- spirits, this is your chance to sample and learn.  Join Bourbon Professor Bernie Lubbers and Pernod Ricard's Master of Scotch, Ross Graham -- along with the Rover's own Michael Reidy -- for a fun, informal evening of whiskey flights and distilling lore.  All flights will feature 3/4 oz. pours to make them more accessible in price and alcohol content.  Featured flights are:

$14 - Glenlivet 15 year, Powers John's Lane, and Elijah Craig 12 year

$12 - Aberlour, Green Spot, and Larceny

$12 - Glenlivet 12 year, Greenore, and Rittenhouse Rye
