Tuesday, January 27th, 6:00 pm - close
Irish whiskey came first, but Scotch whisky (no "e") makes a pretty good case for being the spiritual head of the family. Little brothers Bourbon and Rye (along with other American "sippin whiskys") complete the family tree. If you've ever wondered about these closely related -- but wildly different -- spirits, this is your chance to sample and learn. Join whisk(e)y pros -- along with the Rover's own Michael Reidy -- for a fun, informal evening of whiskey flights and distilling lore. All flights will feature 3/4 oz. pours to make them more accessible in price and alcohol content. Featured flights are:
$14.50 - Glenmorangie 10 year, Bushmills 16 yr single malt, Bulleit Rye
$17 - Oban 14 year, Bushmills 1608, Bulleit Bourbon
$18.50 - Glenmorange Nectar D'Or, Bushmills 21 year single malt, Dickel No.12
