Twentieth Anniversary Celebration Week
Stout Fest - Sunday, November 3rd
Though normally closed on Sundays, we will be OPEN on Sunday, November 3rd, 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm to celebrate our 20th anniversary with a festival of Stouts from around the world. Twelve different styles will be featured, along with a limited menu of traditonal Irish pub grub and live Irish music.
This is one of only a few stout fests in the WORLD, and it's been happening right here in River City for the last three years. With this year being the Rover's 20th anniversary, we're making a big effort to make this year's fest extra special with brews not normally available in this market. Aside from Mackdaddy Guinness, the focus is on regional crafters, as well as craft breweries in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Stout Fest line-up: Carlow Brewing's O'Hara's Celtic Stout, Porterhouse Brewery's Wrasslers Stout, Highland Brewing's Black Mocha Stout, Oskar Blues Ten Fidy Imperial Stout, Southern Tier's Crème Brulee, North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout, Belhaven Black Scottish Stout, Meantime Brewing Company's Cranberry Stout, Green Jack Lurcher Stout, Breckenridge Brewery's 72 Imperial Chocolate Cream Stout, Beer Engine's His Dark Materials, and, of course, Guinness.
